Privia Health is recruiting for a part-time (20 hours a week) Clinical Infomatics Medical Director to lead our technology platform initiatives throughout the organization. At present, Privia Health is supporting over 3,300 providers in 870 practice locations who are providing care to over 3 million patients. This is a remote position that will require some travel to our offices in Arlington, VA.

Our CIMD will partner closely with the product and technology teams to ensure our proprietary, best-in-class solutions are co-created with physician-led input. Our goal is to ensure that products are seamlessly integrated into the clinical workflow, with a focus on automation to reduce administrative burden to the physicians that we serve. This role will will be responsible for co-chairing committees and partner with other physician and product leadership to provide thought leadership and strategic direction on workflows within athenaHealth.

Requirements:

• Experience with athenaHealth suite
• Doctor or Medicine degree required (MD or DO)
• Significant understanding of major trends in Health IT
• 7+ years in direct clinical practice
• 3+ years in clinical informatics
• Management experience in EHR implementation, innovation, or redesign
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Past experience building programs that leverage providers, and demonstrated operational orientation
• Ability to read reports, identify opportunities, and design plans for action. Focuses on validation of tactics with data
• Understanding of value-based care strategies and tactics
• Occasional travel to our HQ offices in Arlington, VA
