Aiken Regional Medical Center in Aiken, SC is assisting a well-established primary care group recruit an Infectious Disease physician. The group has been in Aiken since 1998 and currently has a staff of four physicians and one Nurse Practitioner. The position will focus on Infectious Disease with some Internal Medicine as the practice is being developed. There is a strong need for Infectious Disease services in the Aiken area, so a new physician can expect to build a busy practice quickly. The group is busy, averaging 25 patients per day in one office location, and promotes strong continuity of care by following their patients into the hospital. Ideal candidates will be BC/BE and interested in developing a new practice in a vibrant community. Compensation is very competitive and includes a base salary, benefits and other incentives.
