Infectious Disease opening in MI Located in Saginaw Midland 25m; Detroit 103m Full-time; permanent Infectious Disease physician opportunity is now available in Saginaw, Michigan with an established academic program. We are seeking an enthusiastic board certified (or eligible) Infectious Disease Physician who shares our vision of providing high-quality patient care and excellent resident education in a supportive environment. The selected candidate will be joining a team of board-certified ID physicians, to provide care in the two major medical centers in Saginaw. This position provides consultative inpatient care and follow up, as well as once-weekly outpatient clinic which provides care to general infectious disease, HIV and hepatitis C patients. Ancillary roles include amongst others, antibiotic stewardship, teaching of medical students and residents, direct and indirect involvement of all academic activities of the residency program. This position is Monday through Friday, and includes a monthly weekend consultative coverage. A competitive salary is offered with an incentive bonus. Qualifications Minimum requirements include current board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine, eligibility for an unrestricted Michigan medical license and experience in academia consistent with ACGME requirements.
