Great opportunity for BC/BE Infectious Disease / Internal Medicine Physician to join center.

This Center focus on an integrated approach to caring for the needs of the LGBTQ population, including medical and behavioral health. Experience in working with the LGBTQ community for the East Hartford position is preferred. Also experience in HIV screening, Hepatitis C treatment.

Job Details:

· Full scope adult infectious diseases and primary care (workload may initially be more primary care as the infectious disease practice builds)

· Weekday telephone call up to 5 weeknights a month for adult primary care, weekend call approximately 1 in every 6 weekends for adult primary care, and holiday call once a year

· Serve as collaborating/supervising Physician of Physician Assistants and Advance Practice Registered Nurses

· Opportunity for leadership and performance improvement project involvement

· Billing submission at the time of office visit is expected

· Teaching and research opportunities through affiliated academic partners, including academic title and resources

· Team based care of two (2) Providers, four (4) Medical Assistants, one (1) nurse, one (1) care coordinator, and one (1) behavioral health worker.
