Job Requirements

• MD or DO with active physician license eligibility
• Board certified or board eligible in Infectious Disease or Internal Medicine - Infectious Disease
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Experience managing vascular access devices and central venous catheters
• Fellowship training preferred
• Comfort working in an outpatient-only clinical setting

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient infectious disease consultations and follow-up care
• Evaluate and manage a steady daily clinic volume of patients
• Assess and treat complex infectious disease conditions in an ambulatory care setting
• Support care involving vascular access devices and central venous catheters
• Perform or assist with procedures and clinical decision-making as appropriate, including aspiration of abscess when indicated
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care
• Maintain thorough documentation and communicate clearly with patients and referring providers
