JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active CA license
• Board: BC/BE in Infectious Disease
• DEA: CA DEA Schedule 2/2n required
• Certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Experience: Minimum 4-5 years in Infectious Disease

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide inpatient infectious disease consultations and follow-up care at UCSF Health Stanyan and Hyde locations.
• Cover weekend rounding at both hospital locations, managing an average census of 15 patients per hospital.
• Manage new consults, averaging 3-6 on weekends and 1-3 on weekdays.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an academic hospital setting.
• Utilize Epic EMR for comprehensive patient documentation and order entry.
