Join WCS Healthcare Partners at a prestigious academic medical center in NYC as a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Infectious Disease department, focusing on HIV patient care. This is a unique opportunity to work in a large teaching hospital environment that emphasizes ongoing education and collaboration with a dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Engage in a large teaching hospital environment that emphasizes ongoing education for staff.
- Collaborate with a team of three infectious disease physicians as the first NP/PA in the department in a decade.
- Commit to nine sessions in the outpatient HIV clinic, equating to 4.5 days of clinical work and half a day of administrative duties.
- Suboxone waiver is a plus but not required.
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities.
Position Details
This is a non-unionized position offering a competitive base salary and comprehensive hospital benefits.
Requirements
- Master's Degree as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner, with Board Certification.
- Valid NY State License.
- Not accepting new graduates; applicants must be licensed with some NP experience in primary care. Willing to provide training in HIV care.
