We are seeking a skilled Infectious Disease Physician to join a well-established healthcare setting in Klamath Falls, OR. This role offers a blend of inpatient consultative services and outpatient follow-up care, supporting patients with complex infections and antimicrobial management needs.

Job Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient infectious disease consults and outpatient follow-up care
• Manage complex cases including sepsis, osteomyelitis, HIV, hepatitis, endocarditis, and resistant infections
• Guide antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and appropriate antibiotic use
• Interpret cultures, imaging, and laboratory diagnostics
• Collaborate with hospitalists, surgeons, intensivists, and primary care teams
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and quality standards
• Support infection prevention and quality improvement efforts
Qualifications
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Infectious Disease
• Fellowship trained in Infectious Disease
• Active Oregon Medical License (or ability to obtain)
• DEA License required
• BLS/ACLS Certification preferred
• Prior hospital-based consultative experience preferred
Working Hours
• Mix of inpatient consults and outpatient clinic coverage
• Call schedule may vary
