Job description
• We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Infectious Disease Physician (MD/DO) to join a well-established outpatient clinic in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
• The physician will provide specialized care for patients with a wide range of infectious diseases in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Job Responsibilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and antimicrobial therapies
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, cultures, and diagnostic imaging
• Provide consultation and guidance on infection control and prevention strategies
• Educate patients on disease prevention, treatment plans, and medication adherence
• Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease
• Completion of accredited fellowship training in Infectious Disease
• Active or eligible Oregon medical license
• DEA certification or eligibility
Working Hours
• Monday – Friday outpatient clinic schedule
• Day shift with a collaborative clinical team
Skills
• Expertise in infectious disease management and antimicrobial stewardship
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
