Lowell, MA
An Infectious Disease Physician is sought to join a growing, physician-led practice in Massachusetts. This role includes inpatient infectious disease consultations and rounding, as well as outpatient consultation and treatment of a broad spectrum of infectious diseases. The physician will support patients with complex infectious conditions while contributing to a collaborative, inclusive, and patient-centered care environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide inpatient infectious disease consultations and rounding as required
* Deliver outpatient evaluation and management of infectious diseases
* Manage patients with a wide range of complex infectious conditions
* Develop and maintain longitudinal relationships with patients
* Educate patients, families, and healthcare providers on infection prevention and control measures
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate
* Participate in a tuberculosis clinic
* Share call responsibilities with an approximate 1:3 rotation

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
* MD degree
* Board certified or board eligible in Infectious Disease
* Experience appropriate to career level

* Active or eligible medical license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts preferred
