Infectious Disease Physician- Florida Gulf Coast
Private Practice | General ID | New Grad Friendly
A growing private Infectious Disease practice on Florida's Gulf Coast is seeking a full-time ID
physician due to continued expansion. Located between Tampa and Sarasota, just minutes from
Anna Maria Island, this opportunity offers excellent mentorship, flexibility, and strong earning
potential.
Position Highlights
- 100% General Infectious Disease (Adults only)
- Private practice with transparent leadership
- Mix of 70% inpatient / 30% outpatient
- Clinic schedule: 3 half-days per week
- No pediatrics
- Diverse pathology and broad clinical exposure
- Optional teaching opportunities (additional compensation available)
Practice Environment
- Onsite infusion services (excluding IVIG)
- Full onsite lab and pharmacy
- Experienced IV nursing staff
- Trusted NP model with minimal micromanagement
- EMR: Athena (hospital systems include Meditech & Cerner)
- Coverage across 4 hospitals, rotating every 6 weeks
