Locums Infectious Disease | Macon, Georgia
A hospital-based program in Macon, Georgia is seeking an Infectious Disease physician for locum tenens coverage. This opportunity includes a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities with call coverage and support at a stroke-certified facility.
Assignment Details Coverage dates: February 13, 2026 – July 6, 2026 24-hour coverage blocks (8:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.) Facility will accept multiple providers
Practice Setting Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities Hospital Stroke Certified Trauma Level I and Level III coverage
Schedule & Call Clinic and call coverage Call for assigned and unassigned patients 10–20 minute call response time required Average of 10–25 call patients seen
Requirements Board Certified in Infectious Disease – Required Active Georgia medical license – Required Fellowship preferred ACLS and BLS – Required
