Join a rapidly expanding private Infectious Disease practice in the Tampa-St. Petersburg area, offering full-scope ID care, true practice autonomy, and long-term ownership potential. Practice Details
- Private practice Infectious Disease group serving West Florida since 2017
- Full-spectrum ID care, including inpatient consults, LTACHs, and outpatient services
- Outpatient services include general ID, HIV, Hepatitis C, travel clinic, infusion, and wound care
- Two clinic locations in Tampa and St. Petersburg, with a new St. Petersburg facility planned
- Strong hospital relationships across multiple local hospitals and LTACHs
Schedule
- Majority inpatient work with one to two outpatient clinic days weekly
- Patient volume adjusts based on physician comfort and efficiency
- Flexible call schedule determined collaboratively within the group
- A mix of hospital and clinic work provides variety and balance
Compensation & Benefits
- Multiple compensation models available, including income guarantee with uncapped upside, base plus production, or profit-sharing
- Ownership opportunity available after the second year
- Relocation assistance is considered on a case-by-case basis

- Four weeks' vacation, five days CME with reimbursement, paid malpractice, and covered licensure and DEA
Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO with Board Certification or true Board Eligibility in Infectious Disease
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure
- Comfortable managing inpatient ID volume with outpatient follow-up
- Teaching interest welcomed but not required
- No J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship
