Job description A highly supportive and well-respected healthcare organization in Gillette, WY is seeking a full-time Infectious Disease Physician to join their expanding team. This is a direct-hire, permanent position with no travel assignments. Job Responsibilities

Provide outpatient infectious disease services, including evaluation and management of complex infections

Conduct inpatient ID consults as needed

Manage conditions such as HIV, hepatitis, osteomyelitis, sepsis, postoperative infections, and chronic wound infections

Oversee and guide antimicrobial stewardship initiatives

Review microbiology results and make evidence-based treatment recommendations

Collaborate with hospitalists, primary care, wound care, and specialty teams to support patient care

Participate in infection prevention programs and quality initiatives

Document all encounters accurately in EMR

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease — Required

Active or eligible Wyoming medical license (IMLC accepted)

Willing to relocate to Wyoming — Required

Experience in both inpatient and outpatient ID settings preferred

Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Working Hours

Full-time (direct hire)
Flexible schedule
Call shared or minimal (depending on patient volume)
No travel / no locums assignment

Skills

Expertise in diagnosis and management of infectious diseases
Strong understanding of antibiotic stewardship
Excellent problem-solving and case-management ability
