Job description
Seeking an Infectious Disease Physician to provide inpatient care. Role includes managing adult patients, performing consultations, and delivering advanced infectious disease treatment in a hospital setting.
Job Responsibilities
Manage vascular access devices and central lines
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, arthrocentesis, liver biopsy
Evaluate microscopic specimens and administer intrathecal anti-infective agents
Document patient care using EPIC EMR
Qualifications
Active Colorado license or IMLC LOQ – REQUIRED
BLS and ACLS – REQUIRED
Clean malpractice and background – HIGHLY PREFERRED
Working Hours
Possibility of after-hours call, up to 24 hours
Weekend coverage required
