🔍 Position Details:

• Location: Pueblo, CO

• Practice Setting: Inpatient only

• Schedule: Mon–Sun, 8 AM–5 PM

• Call: Possible after-hours call; up to 24-hour shifts

• Patient Load: ~20 adult ID consults per day

• EMR: EPIC

• Team: Solo physician; no mid-levels

• Lab Onsite: Yes

💼 Scope of Work Includes:

Required:

• Adult inpatient Infectious Disease consults

Preferred Experience:

• Internal Medicine inpatient background

• Familiarity with:

  • Microscopic specimen evaluation

  • Central line placement & management

  • Intrathecal anti-infective administration

  • Diagnostic/therapeutic taps (LPs, arthrocentesis, thoracentesis)

  • Liver biopsies

• Board Certified in Infectious Disease

• Active CO License or IMLC

• BLS & ACLS
