Specialist TeleMed (STeM) is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Board-Certified Hematologist to provide virtual consults in an outpatient setting. We are looking for dedicated physicians committed to making a difference in healthcare by providing telemedicine specialist consultations to healthcare systems and the patients who need them the most.
Our team consists of board-certified and board-eligible specialists across more than twenty-four medical and surgical subspecialties nationwide. STeM empowers you to deliver excellent care to patients via telemedicine, creating a better work/life balance.
Job Description:
We are seeking a board-certified Infectious Disease Physician to provide virtual consultations for adult patients. The role is fully remote, offering flexible scheduling while allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct virtual consultations for adult patients.
• Provide expert medical advice and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and other specialists as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated with best practices in Infectious Disease and telemedicine care.

Requirements:
• Medical Degree (MD/DO).
• Board Certification Infectious DiseaseHematology (or Hematology/Oncology).
• Active medical state licenses in good standing.
• DEA license(s), if applicable.
• Experience using technology to deliver virtual patient care.
• Willingness to learn and use streamlined EMR tools.
• Excellent virtual bedside manner and communication skills.
• Secure work environment free from external noise.
• Reliable internet connection.
• Desktop computer, laptop, cell phone, and/or tablet for video visits.
IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensing Compact) preferred but not required.
