Type: Permanent, full-time

Location: Yonkers, NY (Community-based hospital)

Role: Inpatient & outpatient infectious disease physician with academic opportunities

Perform inpatient infectious disease consultations (medicine, surgery, ICU, long-term care)

Staff 1–2 half-day outpatient clinics per week
-
Provide remote telemedicine coverage for off-site facilities
-
Participate in antimicrobial stewardship & infection control initiatives
-
Share call responsibilities (1 weeknight per week + 1 weekend every 4–6 weeks)

Teach medical residents and students; potential academic appointment

Option to participate in research & quality improvement projects

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (flexible based on coverage)

Clinic: 1–2 half days weekly

Call: Shared rotation; telemedicine available

MD/DO, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Infectious Disease

Eligible for NY medical license & DEA

Strong clinical & diagnostic skills; teaching interest a plus

Inpatient & outpatient experience preferred

Base Salary: $250K–$275K+ (commensurate with experience)
