We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician - Infectious Disease in Prescott, AZ.

Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Physician - Infectious Disease
Location: Prescott, AZ
Rate: $262/hr.
Shift: Days
Start Date: 05/12/2025
End Date: TBD
Position Details:
- Setting: Outpatient clinic
- Patient Population: 7-12 patients per day
- Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and approving incoming referrals
- Managing outpatient infectious disease cases
- Monitoring and ordering treatments
- Coordinating with local infusion centers and wound care centers
- Required Procedures: In-office dressing changes/wound care
- EMR System: Cerner
- Support Staff: 1 MA, 1 front office staff
- Days Per Month: Monday - Friday
- On-Call/Weekends: No
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible - Required
- Arizona license or IMLC (LOQ in hand) - Required
- Residency/Fellowship in Infectious Disease - Required
- BLS Certification - Required
- Malpractice – Clean Preferred
- Availability at time of name clear – Required
Additional Details:
- Minimum commitment: 2 weeks per month, preferably 4/full-time
- Travel:
- Fly into Sky Harbor International (Phoenix) and drive 100 miles to Prescott
- Preferred lodging: Hotels
- Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 days
