We invite you to make a difference in our dynamic, forward-thinking environment as an Infectious Disease Physician. In this role, not only will you provide specialized care, but you will also lead advancements in treating HIV, Hepatitis C, and other infectious diseases. Here, creativity meets innovation to elevate patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide patients with infectious disease specialty care services in addition to general primary care for HIV patients and others as required.
  • Develop and update clinical guidelines for HIV, Hepatitis C, Tuberculosis, PrEP, non-occupational PEP, occupational PEP, and other infectious diseases.
  • Manage and treat common health problems, focusing on serious, chronic, and complex infectious diseases.
  • Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, vaccines, and treatments to prevent illness, disease, or injury.
  • Collect, record, analyze, and maintain patient information, including medical histories, reports, and examination results.
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and progress, reevaluating treatments as necessary.
  • Provide expert consultations and assistance to providers across other service lines when needed.
  • Collaborate during infectious disease outbreaks and report certain diseases to public health organizations.
  • Supervise mid-level providers and mentor students.
  • Offer knowledge and support in research projects, including data analysis and publication.
  • Advise patients on health and illness prevention, including family planning and preventive services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO with completion of Infectious Disease Fellowship.
  • Active DEA registration.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records, preferably with EPIC.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
