Located in San Antonio, TX - 80 miles from Austin, TX_x000D_

Seeking a BE/BC Infectious Disease physician to join the faculty at the Texas Center for Infectious Disease (TCID) in San Antonio, Texas. _x000D_
Currently, two infectious disease physicians care for the patients in the TCID, in addition to teaching, students, residents and fellows from the UT Health Science Center. _x000D_

We are adding another physician to meet the states increasing needs in TB patient care. The current ID physicians will help direct the TB therapy, if the incoming physician is not familiar or comfortable with the management of tuberculosis._x000D_

About Your Work: _x000D_

Monday-Friday_x000D_
- Inpatient management of general medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, anemia and stable chronic kidney disease in addition to the patients mycobacterial disease._x000D_
- Rotate weekend call (from home)_x000D_
- Teach residents and fellows rotating from outside institutions such as UT San Antonio_x000D_
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives_x000D_
