The Infectious Disease Physician will specialize and have extensive knowledge in Bacteriophage. They will build and deploy a Bacteriophage program as well as research and develop a Bacteriophage therapy for clinical treatment. Specializes in the prevention and treatment of communicable diseases. Ensures proper disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. The Infectious Disease Physician will consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition.

Job Responsibilities

Perform physical exams and immunizations on all patients necessary. 

Ensures proper disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery by consulting with
patients, running proper tests, and executing a strategic  treatment plan. 

Provide health education and counseling and establish preventive health practices through
internal referrals at HH&WC.

Prescribes and administers medications or delegates immunization duties to the clinical
support staff as allowed by federal, state and professional guidelines.

Qualifications

Undergraduate Degrees in Biology, Pre-med, Infectious Disease.

MD or DO with Directly Related Experience in Infectious Disease

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease

Fellowship trained in Infectious Diseases

Board Certification (ABIM)- Infectious Diseases

Active WY Licensure to practice in the state

Current DEA Certificate

Working Hours

Shifts: Monday - Friday (No Calls)
