Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 600+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking an Infectious Disease Physician (MD/DO) to work full-time, doing a mix of inpatient and outpatient work on the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center Campus.

Enjoy diverse pathology consulting at our Level 2 trauma center. This role will help build a new employed Infectious Disease service line with clinic space located on hospital campus. Join one outpatient APP and excellent support staff. We utilize EPIC EHR.

Schedule: 32 patient contact hours per week

Call: 1:3, inpatient rounding & call, scheduled one week at a time

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
  • Successful completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program;
  • Successful completion of an accredited Infectious Disease fellowship
  • Board certified or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment;
  • Obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases;
  • Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA.
