A government in New Mexico is seeking a Hospitalist Physician to provide quality patient care for a Government assignment.
Assignment:
Dates: February for 2 weeks (7 on 7 off) then starting March-1 week a month (Monday-Sunday)
credentialing approx 4-6 weeks after acceptance
Schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Setting: Inpatient
Call: None
Volume: 1-4 admissions per night Non-COVID census: 4-15; COVID 5-16 average, the night hospitalist would cover either service overnight
Patient Ages: Adults only
Procedures: Vent management, paracentesis, central line placements
Cases: Vent management, Paracentesis, central line placements
Support Staff: Yes
EMR/Charting: EMR - RPMS
Requirements:
Boards: Board Certified; Board Eligible
Certifications: ACLS; BLS; DEA
Additional qualifications for government jobs: Board Certified/ Eligible Internal Medicine
Minimum 24 months of experience
Additional Requirements: U.S. Citizenship required; medical work experience in the United States in the specialty you are applying for, in the past 12 months, completion of U.S. residency training; any active unrestricted state license.
