ECU Health and ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, North Carolina are seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join their established hospitalist program. New graduates and Visa candidates are encouraged to apply.

  • 7on/7off 7am-7pm schedule, no night shifts required
  • Anticipated inpatient volume per provider is 14-16 patients per day
  • Coverage includes a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit
  • Short term vent management will be required
  • Optional procedures include CVP, intubations, and lumbar punctures
  • Tele ICU support available within the ECU Health system of care
  • Specialty support includes general surgery, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, pulmonary and respiratory, radiology, anesthesia, emergency medicine, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics and dermatology
  • Ability to live in nearby Greenville, North Carolina or the Tidewater Virginia area

This modern facility provides a wide range of health services to its 39,000 residents in the four-county area.
