We are seeking Hospitalist’s to provide Locum Tenens coverage with the opportunity to secure a permanent position near Portland, Maine. The Hospital is a well established facility within the community with over 230 beds, state-of-the-art Emergency Department, large Behavioral Health Department and a strong physician base with support staff. Here are the basic service requirements:
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or strong Board Eligible Candidate and/or Board Certified Family Medicine Physician
• NO Procedures
• NO Codes – run by ED
• Will conduct History and Physicals on Admitted patients
• Daily rounding and coordinate care with care team to include nursing
• Reasonable requests related to professional hospital services
We will provide travel, lodging, malpractice insurance, and a competitive hourly rate. We will also look at candidates who need to obtain a Maine License or reactivate their Maine license.
