Envision Physician Services is searching for a Full-Time Hospital Medicine Medical Director­ to lead our prestigious practice at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. The ideal candidate must have experience as a hospital medicine physician leader with skills in group management, process and design, executive hospital administration coordination, driving programmatic quality measures and a commitment to the delivery of high-quality care. Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice is required.

Additional qualifications:

  • Clinical experience in high-volume, urban facility with high-acuity patients
  • Understands importance and impact of Patient Experience (P/X) on patients, physicians, APP’s, and hospital administration
  • Understands specifics of CMS requirements (e.g. sepsis, STEMI, CHF, pneumonia, 30-day readmissions) and importance of same
  • Meets all credentialing requirements for hospitalist physicians or can check any empty boxes (e.g. ACLS) in a timely manner

Research Medical Center is a teaching hospital with state-of-the-art equipment, a level 1 trauma center and designated cancer care center. The hospitalist program has 18 physicians with APP support. Envision Physician Services has recently raised the compensation and added additional physician and MLP coverage.
