HOSPITALIST LANCASTER SOUTH CAROLINA

We are searching for a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to work as a Hospitalist

Compensation- $150/hr + quarterly quality metrics bonus

Patient Census- 55-60… not unusual to get up to 65

Shift/Call Schedule- 7a-7p, 7 on/off.

The Physicians rotate covering the night shift. Expectation would be 7 on nights once every 4 weeks, but they have 2 intensivists starting soon for ICU

3 Physicians per shift with one APP swing shift (APP is starting to help more with admissions and discharges than previously), there is a physician on call (almost always the medical director)

Relationship between ER and inpatient is strong. Admin is supportive. Fully staffed at present, so physician is stepping into a spot with a permanent and committed team (not a lot of turnover).
