Hospitalist Opening in Vermont Located in Rutland, VT 1hr and 45min to Burlington, VT Full-time, Permanent NO Visa Support Opportunity: We are looking for an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist to join our team of sixteen. We are one of the largest hospitals in Vermont with 133 licensed beds serving Rutland County. Our experienced staff has served the community since 2000 and work closely with our numerous specialists, clinical support staff and community partners to deliver expert care to our patients. Our closed ICU is staffed with full time intensivists to aid with critically ill patients and no ICU responsibility is expected. We support our ED staff with 2 dedicated Hospitalist admitters in the afternoon to help improve the care and flow of our patients presenting to the hospital. Our admitters and rounders work 14 shifts in 28 days plus 2 weeks vacation. The hours of the admitter shift are from 11am-9pm. Rounders work 7am-5pm.
