- 25-bed community hospital – all private rooms
- Open ICU – hospitalists manage ICU patients
- Siemens EMR - eCare converting to Cerner in Fall 2020
- 4 provider team - 1 Day physician and 1 Nocturnist APP working per day (Nocturnist at different facility for oversite/backup for Nocturnist APP)
- Full sub-specialty support
- Central line placement required
- Hospitalists are part of RRT and run codes
- Shared services - program manager, site coordinator and Clinical Performance Nurse for admin and patient flow support
- 7on/7off block scheduling
- Day Hospitalist starts off with 10 to 11 patients and get 3 – 4 admissions per day
- Nocturnist APP has 1 -3 admissions per night and may need to intubate
- No teaching
- No visa support

Compensation (Hospitalist):
- Days base salary
- $240,000 New grads
- $245,000 some experience
- $250,000 very experienced
- up to $30,000 through productivity and quality bonus plan
