An established program in Kansas is planning to hire an additional hospitalist. The facility needs assistance with expanding their lifestyle program. You will work a traditional Monday through Friday schedule and you can leave after rounds are done. There will be rotating call and weekends. Call is from 6 am to 6pm and will be back-up call for APC overnight. The ICU is co-management with intensivist and no procedures will be required. This is the ideal opportunity for a physician seeking to work 16 to 17 days per month with a patient load around 18. In addition to other hospitalists and the APCs, there is also great subspecialty support. They are open to family medicine or internal medicine trained candidates.

You will receive a generous compensation and full benefits with cell phone and CME allowance along with PTO (vacation, CME, and sick time). You will also be offered a 401K, and malpractice including tail coverage.

Olathe is twenty miles southwest of downtown Kansas City, along the historic Oregon-California and Santa Fe Trails. Olathe's downtown is growing ever more vibrant and diverse. It maintains 25.7 miles of bike lanes, 19 miles of multi-use trails, 14.1 miles of trails within parks, and another 6.94 miles of trails in development. Its proximity to Kansas City makes it all the more a desirable location.
