Southeast MA, 1 hour south of Boston, 30 minutes east of Providence, RI

• Two facilities

• 7 am – 7 pm, 7 pm – 7 am

• 16 – 18 patient encounters during the day (includes a few admissions in AM and afternoon)

• 2 - 10 admissions a night

• Facility One

  • 4 MD’s on during the day shift

  • 1 MD at night

  • Closed ICU

  • MEDITECH EMR

• FacilityTwo

  • 2 – 3 MD’s on during the day shift

  • 1 MD + 1 NP (not in-house but handles floor calls) at night

  • No procedures required for day shift. Intubations and Central Lines required at night only

  • Nearly Closed ICU - Will have to do History and Physical exams for admissions into the ICU

  • EPIC EMR

• Will run codes and Rapid Response

• Sub-specialty support available

• IM or FP trained

• Credentialing takes two months
