Now hiring Hospitalists to also serve as Faculty for Medical Students and Residents for a University of California program. Positions will be based in Palm Springs California at Desert Regional Medical Center. Work hours will be daytime block schedules of 7 on 7 off. A competitive income package is offered including excellent benefits and pension plan.
Palm Springs is located in Southern California's Coachella Valley. The Valley has a year round population of approximately 550,000 people and has been one of the fastest growing areas in California for the past decade. Aside from being a popular retirement destination, young families continue to migrate into the Valley in higher numbers every year. This region is known for a variety of annual festivals and a host of highly-acclaimed events that bring culture, music, sports, entertainment, shopping and a variety of cuisine to thousands of locals and visitors each year. It is a playground for world-class polo enthusiasts and a haven for golf and tennis players. And it's only two hours from Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and the Bear Mountain Ski Resorts.
