Locum - Hospitalist - MD/DO

Join Our Team as a Nocturnist in Lansing, MI!

We are currently seeking a dedicated Nocturnist to provide coverage at a well-respected healthcare facility in Lansing, Michigan. Enjoy a dynamic working environment offering comprehensive inpatient care, with a focus on internal medicine. This position requires immediate availability upon credentialing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide nocturnal coverage from 7 PM to 7 AM onsite.
• Manage inpatient care responsibilities for approximately 22 patients, based on census.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize Cerner PowerChart for electronic health documentation.
• Perform and oversee internal medicine procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Strong background in inpatient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current Michigan Medical License.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification.
• Documentation of immunizations as per employee health requirements: Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, Covid, and TB screening.
