Locums – Cottonwood, Arizona, Hospitalist Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role

• Hospital-based Hospitalist coverage
• Current coverage needs:
  • October 19, 2026
  • October 23, 2026
  • November 24-29, 2026
• Admit and rounding coverage
• Cerner EMR

Schedule & Coverage

• Admit shift: 8:00 am-8:00 pm
• Rounding shift: 6:30 am-6:30 pm
• Daytime ICU managed by an Intensivist; Hospitalists are not responsible for ICU coverage during day shifts

Practice Setting & Support

• Daytime specialty support includes Anesthesia, Surgery, and Interventional Radiology
• Interventional Radiology available Monday-Friday during regular business hours
• Internal Medicine residents and Rapid Response Team participate in codes
• Hospitalists are expected to attend codes involving their assigned patients

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Arizona license or IMLC pathway accepted
• DEA required
• BLS required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Approximately 30-day credentialing timeframe
• Drive-in candidates only
