- Start Date: October 18, 2026
- End Date: January 17, 2027
- Shift: Day shift, 8 hours (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,310 - $6,760
- Charting System: Cerner
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days
- Orientation: Approximately 4 hours of remote Cerner training prior to start
- Additional Note: Drive-in only
Job Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- Active Arizona medical license or eligibility through IMLC
- DEA certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of hospitalist or inpatient medicine experience required
- Comfortable managing a busy inpatient census and cross-covering approximately 40-50 patients
- Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical decision-making skills in a collaborative hospital environment
- COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive hospitalist coverage for adult inpatients
- Cross-cover a large patient panel throughout the day
- Respond to codes when covering your assigned patients
- Collaborate with subspecialists, residents, and rapid response staff as needed
- Deliver timely, high-quality, patient-centered inpatient care
- Complete documentation and medical records promptly in Cerner
- Maintain a professional, team-focused approach in a fast-paced hospitalist setting
- No procedures required
