Hospitalist Physician – Night Shifts in Salem, MA

- Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), with additional admit shifts (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM or 4:00 PM – Midnight)
- Hours/Week: Variable, based on shifts
- Employment Type: Contract
- License/Certs: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics, MA license (or willingness to obtain), DEA, ACLS, PALS, NRP
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in hospital-based practice
- Hourly Pay Rate: $197.47

- Serve as the admitting physician during night shifts, managing patient admissions and care in a closed ICU environment
- Collaborate with hospital staff to provide high-quality adult patient care
- Document patient encounters efficiently within Epic EMR
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
- Handle 6-8 admissions nightly during overnight shifts, with 4-6 admissions during 8-hour admit shifts
- Maintain continuous communication with hospital teams and support staff
- Current Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatrics
- Massachusetts state medical license or willingness to obtain
- Valid DEA registration
- Certifications in ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- At least 1 year of relevant hospitalist experience
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work night shifts independently
