Physician - Hospitalist

Job Details:

• Provide hospitalist coverage with a varying amount of shifts needed per month
  
• See 20-30 patients per day as a collective service, treating patients of all ages
  
• Work within a closed ICU setting where admissions must be accepted by the intensivist on duty
  
• Admit shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) strictly handles hospital admissions
  
• Swing shift (4:00 PM - 4:00 AM) also handles admissions; Early Swing shift runs 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
  
• Night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) includes two physicians handling admissions and cross-coverage of all hospital patients, with the exception of ICU
  
• Utilize Cerner EMR system
  
• Hospital has 270 beds
  
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required
  
• Active Arizona license or IMLC Letter of Qualification in hand required
  
• DEA required
  
• ACLS certification required
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
