Job Details:

• Hospital-based hospitalist position utilizing Cerner EMR
  
• Cross-covering an average of 40-50 patients per day
  
• During day shift, a multitude of subspecialties are available including anesthesia, surgery, and interventional radiology
  
• Intensivist coverage in the ICU during day shifts, so hospitalist coverage of the ICU is not required
  
• Hospitalists are expected to attend codes for their own patients; internal medicine residents and a rapid response team respond to all codes
  
• No procedures required
  
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice required
  
• Active Arizona license or IMLC required
  
• DEA required
  
• BLS certification required
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
