Hospitalist Physician - Day Shift in Flagstaff, AZ

- Shift: Day Shift, 06:00 – 18:00 (5 days/week)
- Hours/Week: 40 hours
- Employment Type: Temporary/Contract
- Licensure/Certifications: AZ license (or IMLC LOQ), BC/BE in Internal or Family Medicine, ACLS, DEA
- Experience: Minimum 2 years required
- Hourly Pay Rate: $211.19/hour

- Provide inpatient care for a full patient census, managing 20-30 patients daily
- Admit patients into the hospital, collaborating with ICU and specialty units
- Cross-cover hospital patients during evening and night shifts (6p–6a)
- Accept admissions strictly during designated hours, with backup coverage during additional shifts
- Document patient assessments and treatment plans in Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with ICU team and other hospital staff to ensure quality care
- Support hospital staff with patient safety, safety plans, and discharge planning
- AZ medical license or IMLC LOQ
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based experience
- ACLS certification
- DEA registration
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
