Job Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
• Active Arizona medical license or IMLC eligibility
• DEA required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of hospitalist or inpatient experience required
• Comfortable working in a hospital-based inpatient environment
• Experience with Cerner preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide night hospitalist coverage and cross-cover an average of 40-50 patients
• Respond to patient needs and support code response when appropriate for assigned patients
• Collaborate with ICU, subspecialty services, residents, and rapid response teams
• Deliver high-quality inpatient care with minimal procedural requirements
• Document accurately and maintain timely medical records in Cerner
• Participate in required Cerner training and orientation before start
• Work effectively within a team-focused, patient-centered hospital environment
