Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist
Location: WV
Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
Position Overview
Provide inpatient hospital medicine advanced practice coverage in a critical access hospital setting, with physician tele-coverage available 24 hours.
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite NP/PA coverage for hospital medicine service, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Manage an average daily census of approximately 9 inpatient patients
Collaborate with physician tele-coverage available 24 hours
Document care using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications
Graduate degree as a Nurse Practitioner with certification as FNP, AGACNP, or ACNP; or licensure as a Physician Assistant
Active West Virginia NP or PA license
Active DEA registration
Minimum 2 years of hospital medicine experience
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Practice Details

EMR: Epic
Average daily census: 9
