Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (7a-7a); most shifts needed on weekends; schedule is not set and shifts are sporadic with typically 2-3 months advance notice
- Job Setting: Inpatient; In-House Call; OB/GYN ED coverage
- Types of Cases:
- Low and high risk pregnancy
- FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
- OB Ultrasounds (Level I and Level II)
- Amniocentesis
- Routine deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section)
- Complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs)
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Office/minor gynecology (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
- Surgical gynecology - open and laparoscopic (diagnostic/minor and operative/major)
- Average of 5-6 ED patients per day
- Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe is 120 days; temporary privileges are not available
- EMR System: Epic
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
- Licensure: Mississippi or IMLC
