Physician - Obstetrics / Gynecology - Hospitalist in Missouri

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Every 5th weekend - Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 5:00 AM
• Job Setting: Inpatient - Mercy Hospital Washington; 16 beds (8 LDRP, 8 Couplet/GYN)
• Coverage Type: Call Only (Beeper); Call Ratio 1:4; 30-minute call response time required
• EMR System: Epic
• Average Deliveries Per Year: 750
• Patients Per Shift: 0-3 patients seen; 0-2 admissions; 0-5 phone consults
• Types of Cases:
  • Low and high risk pregnancy management
  • FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
  • OB Ultrasounds - Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted
  • Amniocentesis
  • Routine vaginal delivery, low forceps, C-section decision-making
  • Complicated deliveries: C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
  • Office/minor gynecology: IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP
  • Surgical gynecology: open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, operative/major
• Credentialing: Estimated 90 days; temporary privileges available

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible minimum; Board Certified preferred
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required
• Licensure: Active Missouri (MO) license required; IMLC not accepted
• Fellowship: Required
• Additional Requirements: Clean NPDB and active Malpractice history required at time of submission
