Job description
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months
- On-site shift coverage; includes weekends and nights
- No call (no rotation, no callbacks)
- Specialty/setting: Hospital medicine; open ICU
- Patient population: Rural, community-based
- Hospital size/census: 100 beds; ~50 daily census; ~12 daily admissions; no consults
- Rounding: 20-24 patients/day; ICU rounding required
- Cases: Bread-and-butter internal medicine; no trauma; no grand rounds
- Procedures/vents: Vent management required with Pulm/Cardio support; procedures not required but ability preferred
- Support staff: Nursing, CM, RT, PT, Lab, etc.
- Requirements: Comfort in open ICU; capability to manage vents (with Pulm/Cardio support)
- New grads welcome
- Credentialing: Emergency/temporary privileges available
