Job description
We are seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens position in Manchester, New Hampshire. This is a per diem locum tenens opportunity at an acute care hospital with a high-volume inpatient service. Please see below for more information.
- Acute care hospital
- 300+ beds
- Trauma Level III (Adult) / Level IV (Pediatric)
Job Responsibilities
Round on approximately 18-22 patients per day
Participate in admissions, with approximately 25-30 admissions per 24-hour period across the service
Round in an open ICU
Manage consults within the overall daily volume
Manage follow-ups as inpatients
Care for a diverse adult inpatient population
Work within a daily hospital census of approximately 140-160
Collaborate with multiple on-site specialty services
No procedures required
No ventilator management required
Complete one orientation/shadow day plus one additional shadow day
Qualifications
Working Hours
Swing: 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM (may extend to 5:00 AM based on volume)
Nocturnist: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Day: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, varied
Providers may be placed on their preferred shift type (days or nights); the unit prefers candidates able to work both
No call required
