Job description
We are seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens position in Rochester, New Hampshire. This is a day shift opportunity at an acute care hospital serving an underserved patient population. Please see below for more information.
- 100-bed acute care hospital
- Open ICU with tele-intensivist support
Job Responsibilities
Manage a daily census of approximately 14-24 patients
Complete 4-5 daily admissions
Perform 4-6 consults per day, primarily behavioral health and rehabilitation
Provide consults for the geropsych and rehabilitation units
Round in an open ICU with virtual intensivist support for vent and drip management
Comfortably manage 22 or more encounters per shift
Collaborate with APPs utilized for surge and backup coverage
Emergency privileges may be considered based on facility need
No specific procedures required
Qualifications
NPI number required
Case logs required
Working Hours
One physician on-site and on-call for the full shift
No call or callback expectations after shift completion
Two 12-hour shadow/orientation shifts
