## Hospitalist Physician Opening | Brattleboro, VT Located in Brattleboro, Vermont Full-Time, Permanent ## Practice Overview * Full-time Hospitalist opportunity in Brattleboro, Vermont * Join a collaborative, mission-driven hospitalist team serving a rural community across Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts * Provide comprehensive inpatient care including admissions, daily rounding, and discharges * Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions * Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in a community hospital setting * Collaborate closely with specialists, primary care physicians, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, CRNAs, Emergency Medicine physicians, and ancillary services * Coordinate patient care plans and facilitate smooth transitions of care * Interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic studies to guide treatment decisions * Respond to medical emergencies, including rapid responses and code situations * Perform ventilator management * No procedures required * Strong specialty support available, including surgeons for central line placement, respiratory therapy, Emergency Medicine physicians, and CRNAs * Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, quality improvement initiatives, and hospital committees * Rotating call and weekend coverage * Rural hospital experience preferred * Visa sponsorship is not available ## Compensation & Recruitment Package * Annual salary: $300,000–$350,000 * Compensation based on experience, board certification, education, and market factors * Relocation assistance available ## Job Qualifications * MD or DO * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine * Vermont medical license or eligibility * DEA registration required prior to start * BLS and ACLS certification required * Experience with ventilator management required * Experience leading code situations required * Two to three years of Hospitalist experience preferred * Rural healthcare experience preferred * Clean malpractice and licensure history required * Visa sponsorship is not available ## Benefits * Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance * Retirement plan with employer contribution * Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays * CME allowance and paid CME time * Malpractice insurance * Life and disability insurance * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * Relocation assistance ## Community Details Brattleboro is a picturesque New England community offering an exceptional quality of life with abundant outdoor recreation, a thriving arts scene, and a welcoming small-town atmosphere.
