Job description
This role is for an experienced hospitalist with demonstrated leadership experience who wants to practice through providing compassionate, patient centered care. A robust team of experienced hospitalists help support this role. This position offers a creative and unique shift schedule of Monday – Friday coverage. The service is covered by a dedicated nocturnist.
Job Responsibilities
• Lead a team of physicians, advanced practice providers for a 24/7 hospitalist medicine team.
• Prescribes medication or therapy when necessary.
• Recommends lifestyle changes as appropriate to improve quality of life.
• Explains all medical procedures thoroughly.
• Explains test results and provide patients with plan of care details.
• Consults with other doctors as appropriate about patient’s specific needs.
Qualifications
• Post-training clinical experience in a robust hospital setting.
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Ability to obtain Florida licensure
Working Hours
Monday - Friday schedule
