A healthcare organization in Western Arizona is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment. This opportunity offers a 7-on/7-off block schedule with day and night shift availability in a collaborative inpatient setting.

• Setting: Inpatient Hospital Medicine
• Start Date: September 1, 2026
• Contract: September 1, 2026 – December 1, 2026
• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off block schedule
• Shifts: Days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Minimum Commitment: Four shifts
• Call: None specified
• EMR: Cerner

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient hospital medicine services
• Evaluate, admit, and manage hospitalized adult patients
• Provide both daytime rounding and nocturnist coverage
• Interpret EKGs as part of routine patient management
• Collaborate with consulting physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
• Document patient care using Cerner

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Completion of an Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Hospital Medicine residency
• Active Arizona medical license
• Active Arizona DEA registration
• Current ACLS or ATLS certification
• Comfortable independently interpreting EKGs
• Recent clinical activity logs and CME documentation required for credentialing
• Hospitalist experience preferred
• New graduates may be considered with Medical Director approval
• Eligible for hospital credentialing
